The Kuttimera village is belongs to Bodasindhiba GP of Mohana Block, Gajapati District. This village is populated with 18 household of 54 families. All they are belongs to Schedule Tribe (Khandha) categories. They had no drinking water facilities in their village as well as there was no proper road to reach the village. After intervention of the SWAD organisation formed the Village Task Force (VTF) committee for the developmental activities of the village. The SWAD organisation has provided trainings to them on Govt. Schemes and about their rights, as well as skilled to them on the issues based approaching systems for developmental activities. Impact of those trainings and meetings the Village Task Force took the initiatives and approached the sarpanch and submitted an application for Drinking water and road for the community. He with the help of Gram Panchayat managed to get the road sanctioned with 22 lakhs. The VTF becoming aware of the project called OPLEP approached the sarpanch and they were blessed to get a bore well with solar pump set. Now every family have the running water.
