“Strengthen capacities of SWAD Networking partners for Peace Building” was implemented by SWAD in collaboration with Mensen met een Missie from January to November 2018. To strengthen the SWAD Peace Network partners, this project was implemented in the same area of the Peacebiulding and Conflict Transformation project. The project attempted to address the issue of institutional capacity and individual expertise among 10 SWAD Peace Network partners, in order to effectively implement projects that aim at conflict resolution and peace building.

Outcomes/Achievements of the Project:

• The ten Partners as a Peace Network was recognised by other CSOs, communities other than the operational villages, activists and peace promoters
• A Seven Member Core Team of Experts on Peacebuilding and conflict resolution was set up, who during the modular training of Peace Trainers rendered their service as Peacebuilding Resource Persons.
• The project was implemented by 20 staff who in every training participated, leaned and practiced in their respective fields.
• The project was able to produce Training Manual and Training Module in the regional language as Peace Resources
• The project also helped SWAD and its partners become as resource centres in their respective areas
• The Peace Network is recognised as Peace builders in the area.
